Storyline: 

A Caltech seismologist, Dr. Lawrence Hayes, and his colleague Dr. Kim Park are at Hoover Dam to test a new earthquake prediction model when a nearby and previously-unknown fault ruptures and triggers a Mw 7.1 earthquake that collapses the dam. Park sacrifices himself to save a young girl and is swept away by the water.

Hayes discovers that the entire San Andreas Fault is shifting and will soon cause several massive earthquakes that will potentially destroy cities along the fault line. He begins racing to warn the population along with his students Alexi and Phoebe, the reporter Serena Johnson, and her cameraman Dylan..

Storyline: 

In Georgetown, fifteen years after Regan MacNeil's exorcism in 1975,[a] Father Joseph Dyer and Lieutenant William F. Kinderman reminisce about Father Damien Karras. The following night, an incident at a church occurs indicating the presence of something supernatural, which causes the Christ figure on a crucifix to open its eyes. A man walking on the street speaks about a dream of "falling down a long flight of steps", suggesting that someone is committing murders linked to Karras' death.


 

 

The Legend of Tarzan

Storyline:

 At the Berlin Conference of 1884–1885, King Leopold II of Belgium claims the Congo Basin. Five years later, after accruing massive debts in exploiting the resources of the Congo Free State, Leopold sends his envoy Léon Rom to secure the fabled diamonds of Opar. The expedition is massacred by warriors led by Chief Mbonga, who offers Rom diamonds in exchange for Tarzan.

The man once called "Tarzan", The Rt Hon. John ClaytonEarl of Greystoke, has left Africa for his estate in Britain with his American wife Jane. John's parents survived a shipwreck only to die in Africa, where their child, as a baby, was adopted by the Mangani, a race of apes.

Storyline:

 8 Graves tells the story of six best friends having a “college reunion” at the historical, old (and very haunted) house of one’s late uncle. Sadie (Jessica Slaughter; One Tree Hill) is a new mother who needs a break from her awful husband to regain some sanity, and the place belongs to her. Sweet peacemaker Whitney (Judit Fekete; The Witcher); bitchy lawyer Melissa (newcomer Andrea Catangay); party girl Kara (Jennifer Olympia Bentley; Eastbound and Down); good-girl Ruth (former Miss South Carolina Valarie Kobrovsky); and spiritually touched Alice (Sims Holland; The Afflicted) are there for her, but none of them have any idea exactly how haunted the house and grounds are, nor can they fathom just how dangerous these spirits are. The home’s original owners lost both of their children in the Civil War before eventually losing their grip on reality and murdering each other with a hatchet. Storyline:

 Six months after the Jurassic World incident and the Indominus rex's death, a small mercenary team arrives on the abandoned Isla Nublar to collect DNA from its remains in the lagoon. After a two-man team collects a bone sample, the Mosasaurus devours their submersible. The Tyrannosaurus attacks the team, but the surviving members escape with the sample by helicopter. The Mosasaurus swims through the partially open underwater gates into the open ocean.

Three years later, a U.S. Senate committee debates whether Isla Nublar's dinosaurs should be saved from an impending volcanic eruptionChaotician Dr. Ian Malcolm testifies that the dinosaurs should perish naturally to correct the wrongful cloning done by John Hammond.

 

Lara Croft Tomb Raider

Storyline: 

Adventurer Lara Croft defeats a robot in an Egyptian tomb, revealed to be a training exercise arena in her family manor, where she lives with her technical assistant Bryce and butler Hillary. In Venice, as the first phase of a planetary alignment begins, the Illuminati search for a key to rejoin halves of a mysterious artifact, "the Triangle," which must be completed by the final phase, a solar eclipse. Manfred Powell assures the cabal that the artifact is almost ready, but has no real idea of its location.

Lara's father Lord Richard Croft, long missing and presumed dead, appears to her in a dream. Lara awakens to a mysterious ticking, and finds a strange clock hidden inside the manor. On her way to consult a friend of her father's, Wilson, Lara crosses paths with Alex West, an American associate and fellow adventurer. Lara shows Wilson the clock, and he puts her in touch with Powell. Lara shows Powell photographs of the clock, which he claims not to recognize.

Storyline: 

Lucy is an American studying in Taipei, Taiwan. Her new boyfriend Richard coerces her into delivering a briefcase containing four bags of the highly valuable synthetic drug CPH4 to Mr. Jang, a South Korean drug lord.

After witnessing Richard being shot dead, she is captured and forced to become a drug mule. One bag of the drug is sewn into her abdomen for transport to Europe. However, she is kicked in the stomach, breaking the bag and releasing a large quantity of the drug into her system. She acquires enhanced physical and mental capabilities, such as telepathytelekinesismental time travel, and negated emotions; she also ceases to feel pain. Using her new abilities, she kills her captors and escapes.

 

 

Mad City

Storyline: 

After being sacked from his job at a museum, former security guard Sam Baily returns to the place with a shotgun and dynamite and takes his former boss Mrs. Banks and a number of children (at the museum on a school field trip) as hostages. Local television journalist Max Brackett is in the museum using the restroom after an interview with the curator about financial difficulties. He becomes directly involved in the hostage situation, acting as Baily's intermediary to the outside world and the police.

Baily accidentally shoots a friend of his, Cliff, who's still working there as a security guard, sending him to the hospital. He later fires the weapon again, frightening the children and becoming increasingly unstable as he takes caffeine pills to stay awake. Along with the young intern coworker Laurie among the growing media circus outside, Brackett reports the inside story exclusively on television, reviving his career. By being free to come and go, he negotiates with a national network and its star news anchorman, Kevin Hollander, with whom Brackett has an unhappy history.

Storyline:

 The National Mirror is a tabloid publication that reports primarily on unexplainable phenomena. The editor, Vartan Malt, receives a story tip about a woman living with an angel in her house in a small town in Iowa, and decides to send three staff members to investigate. He chooses Frank Quinlan; Huey Driscoll, a photographer and owner of the Mirror star Sparky the Wonder Dog; and Dorothy Winters, hired by Malt to eventually replace Driscoll.

At the boarding house of Pansy Milbank, they meet her tenant Michael. While Michael has wings and smells like cookies, he has an unexpected taste for cigarettes and sugar, seems rather boorish at first, and does not appear clean. When pressed for the type of angel he is, he replies he is an archangel, with Pansy boasting he triumphed over Lucifer in the War in Heaven.

 

 

 

Ocean's Eleven

Storyline:

 Professional thief Danny Ocean is released after four years in a New Jersey prison. He travels to Los Angeles and reunites with friend and colleague Rusty Ryan. They travel to Las Vegas to secure financial backing from wealthy friend Reuben Tishkoff for a multi-million dollar heist to rob three casinos owned by Tishkoff's ruthless rival, Terry Benedict. These are the Bellagio, the Mirage, and the MGM Grand. Legally required to have enough cash to cover all casino patrons' bets, Danny estimates that during an upcoming high-profile boxing match, the casinos will hold over $150 million in an underground vault guarded by virtually unassailable security measures and systems. Having been forced out of his casino by Benedict, Tishkoff readily agrees to participate.

 

Ocean's Thirteen

Storyline: 

Reuben Tishkoff builds a hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Against advice from his friend and erstwhile criminal partner Danny Ocean, he becomes involved with investor and casino mogul Willy Bank, whose thugs strongarm Reuben into signing over his ownership stake. As a result, Tishkoff suffers a heart attack and becomes bedridden. Ocean offers Bank a chance to set things right, but Bank refuses and completes the hotel, renamed "The Bank".

To avenge Tishkoff, Ocean gathers his crew to ruin Bank on the hotel's opening night. The crew's plan has two objectives:

  • Prevent The Bank from winning the prestigious Five Diamond Award, which all of Bank's previous hotels have won. Saul Bloom acts as the anonymous Five Diamond reviewer, while the real one is treated horribly.
  • Rig all of the casino's games to pay millions in winnings; Bank's casino must make $500 million in the first quarter to stay open. Otherwise, Bank will lose control of his hotel to the Board of Directors.
